1974 blaxploitation serial killer film
remains one of the most sought after films
of the Blax era. Taking what could have
become a standard police actioner ala
Dirty Hairy and turning it into an amazing
film about a white man in black face with
an afro wig driving around San Francisco
on a motorcycle, murdering and raping
women, is no small feat! But Girdler delivers
(when has he not?). Starring James Pickett
as the Al Jolsen murder and Austin Stoker
as Lt. Savage (don't you just love that
name!?), The Zebra Killer is one of the
best blaxploitation films never released
to video. A true must see rarity.
