Nerds, comes this painful, bleak and blunt masterpiece
that has been completely forgotten about over time
and certainly deserves to be seen again. Hal Holbrook
plays Paul Steward, a successful publisher of a
scientific journal who is married with three children.
The character is introduced to the audience as he
begins what will become a tragic day, murder and
suicide. Feelings of estrangement from his kids,
loathing for his wife, and detachment from his job
lead him down a path of destruction, self hate,
and dementia.
