text from dime store sex novels, the film
seems more inclined to get us excited about
pornography than show us the moral decay
it is bringing on. Putman goes into great
detail about numerous sexual fetishes and
behaviors: “the extreme spiked heel
and the tight boot, the burning cigarette,
the laced leather garment, the nakedness,”
“he worship of the whip, the riding
crop, rubber and leather garments.”
