Produced in 1983, You’re Gonna Miss Me is
a wonderfully trippy & laid back documentary
on the trials and tribulations of arguably the
world’s first psychedelic rock band, The
13th Floor Elevators. Not to be confused with
the very professional 2005 documentary of the
same name, this one has a very authentic, down
and dirty quality that plays more like a love
letter to the band and focuses primarily on first
hand accounts told by members of the band and
close friends. A must see rarity for fans of Roky
Erickson & psychedelic music in general.
Also on this disc is rare concert footage of The
Pretty Things as well as a live show from 1989
of Spacemen 3!
